Terms & Conditions and Payment/Refund Policies

This page (together with the documents referred to on it as GDPR LITE Pack sets out the terms of use ("Terms") for all users of our website www.compliantaudits.co.uk and the services available on it as GDPR LITE Pack.

Please read these Terms carefully before you start to use GDPR LITE Pack. By using GDPR LITE Pack, you indicate that you accept these Terms and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using GDPR LITE Pack.

In order to use GDPR LITE Pack, you need to (a) be 18 or older or be 13 or older and have your parent or guardian’s consent to these Terms, (b) have the power to enter a binding contract with us and are not barred from  doing so under any applicable laws.

GDPR LITE Pack USERS

The registered users of GDPR LITE Pack are:

Users who have registered with Compliant Quality Audits Ltd, as an SME Company, Micro business, Sole Trader or a Self Employed, required to be GDPR Compliant, and are purchasing a GDPR LITE Pack on line from the company website at www.compliantaudits.co.uk

They are a ("Registered Users"). Information about the different types of other products can also be found here: www.compliantaudits.co.uk 

 

ACCESSING Compliant Quality Audits Ltd

Whilst we try to schedule maintenance and other down-time to cause the minimum of disruption to you, we will not be liable if for any reason www.compliantaudits.co.uk is unavailable at any time or for any extended period. We make no guarantees about your access to www.compliantaudits.co.uk or any guarantee as to uptime.

From time to time, we may restrict access due to maintenance and upgrades to some parts of www.compliantaudits.co.uk, to Registered Users.

 

PASSWORDS AND REGISTRATION DETAILS

You promise that any registration information that you submit to us is true, accurate and complete, and you agree to keep it that way at all times.

You understand that you are responsible for all use of your username and password.  You must treat all user names and passwords as confidential, and you must not disclose them to any third party.  Your password protects your GDPR LITE Pack account, and you are solely responsible for keeping your password confidential and secure. If your username or password is lost or stolen, or if you believe there has been unauthorized access to your GDPR LITE Pack account by third parties, please notify us immediately and change your password as soon as possible.

We have the right to disable any user names or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to GDPR LITE Pack account. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access GDPR LITE Pack through your internet connection are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them. 

 

DURATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT

If you purchase a GDPR LITE Pack Account, your access to your GDPR LITE Pack account will immediate and be live for 12 months from the purchase date. It expires on the anniversary date but can be renewed by contacting the company.

Following expiry of a GDPR LITE Pack Account we continue to hold certain information on that account for a period of 12 months and if you renew your Account during that time, the majority of your information will be recoverable.

 

PAYMENTS

All payments made via GDPR LITE Pack to Compliant Quality Audits Ltd are handled on our behalf by PayPal or other payment processers which we use from time to time. In addition to these Terms, payments are made subject to the applicable terms of that supplier as amended from time to time

If you the purchaser reside in the European Union, you have the right to change your mind and receive a full refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase, but only if you have not logged in to that account and used the template documents originally provided.

The cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription/transaction period.

We will only offer refunds if you cancel your account with us during the 14-day period following your registration of your GDPR LITE Pack Account.

Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order to us. Please take the time to read and check your order at each page of the order process.

After you submit your application form, and your payment has been accepted, you will receive from us acknowledgment that we have received your registration form, your account is live as well as your tracker user name. The contract between us will only be formed when we send you the confirmation.

If for any reason your application forms are not acceptable or complete we will inform you of this by e-mail and we will not process your application forms. No payment will be taken.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in Compliant Quality Audits Ltd and its web site:

www.compliantaudits.co.uk and all the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to make personal, non-commercial use of GDPR LITE Pack. However, all of our trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, domain names, and any other features of the GDPR LITE Pack brand ("our brand") are our sole property. We do not grant you any rights to use our brand, whether for commercial or non-commercial use. This in particular to any form of resale of the purchased GDPR LITE Pack to other non-related users to your business of the product. In summery You must not use any part of the materials for GDPR LITE Pack for commercial purposes outside your business without obtaining a licence to do so from us.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from GDPR LITE Pack for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on www.compliantaudits.co.uk 

You may modify the digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way as they are in Microsoft open format Word Doc format. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on GDPR LITE Pack must always be acknowledged.

If you print off, copy or download any part of GDPR LITE Pack in breach of these Terms, your right to use GDPR LITE Pack will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

 

RELIANCE ON INFORMATION POSTED

Commentary and other materials posted in GDPR LITE Pack are not intended to be advice on which sole reliance should be placed. We therefore disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by any visitor to www.compliantaudits.co.uk, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.

 

CHANGES REGULARLY

We aim to update GDPR LITE Pack from time to time as regulations require such changes to be made and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend access to the account, or close it indefinitely. Material in GDPR LITE Pack may become out of date at any given time if not informed by the Legal Regulators at the appropriate time, then we are under no obligation to update such material.

 

DATA SECURITY

The security and privacy of your content/information which was supplied as opt in and is hosted on www.compliantaudits.co.uk is of upmost importance to us.

We use industry standard, or better, administrative, physical and technical safeguards to protect the security, confidentiality and integrity of your content. Your purchased content details are held on our secure server system that has a range of technological safeguards and security certifications.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee 100% protection for your content. We therefore cannot accept responsibility or liability for unauthorized access, hacking, or other security intrusions or failure to store or the theft, deletion, corruption, destruction, damage, or loss of any data or information. We advise our users not to upload any content to www.compliantaudits.co.uk which they would not wish to be possibly accessed by an unauthorised user.

 

OUR LIABILITY

You agree that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, your sole and exclusive remedy for any problems or dissatisfaction with GDPR LITE Pack is to stop using GDPR LITE Pack.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT YOU & YOUR VISITS TO OUR WEBSITE

We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy.  By using www.compliantaudits.co.uk, GDPR LITE Pack you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

 

UPLOADING MATERIAL TO www.compliantaudits.co.uk

We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any of the content you provided us or any other user of GDPR LITE Pack. We will not monitor, review, or edit your content, but we may remove or disable access to any your information if you violate these Terms without notifying you.

VIRUSES, HACKING AND OTHER OFFENCES

You must not introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful to www.compliantaudits.co.ukYou must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to www.compliantaudits.co.uk, the server on which www.compliantaudits.co.uk is stored or any server, computer or database connected to www.compliantaudits.co.uk. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of GDPR LITE Pack or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these Terms. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms to another person if we agree in writing.

These Terms are a contract between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise, against us.

Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, all remaining paragraphs will remain in full force & effect.

If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

 

JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

The English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to www.compliantaudits.co.uk although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country. 

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

 

VARIATIONS

We may revise these Terms at any time by amending this page and, where appropriate, will notify those changes to you by e-mail. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you immediately. Some of the provisions contained in these Terms may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on www.compliantaudits.co.uk.

Payment flow and delivery policy

Your GDPR LITE Pack will be available to use immediately after you have paid for the product via the PayPal mechanism made available on the company website.

You will be notified 30 days before the annual anniversary date that your GDPR LITE Pack should be annually reviewed unless you have previously specified you don't wish for this to happen.

 

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Standard terms for refunds apply as per applicable law, i.e. within 14 days form purchase of the GDPR LITE Pack, assuming due notification has been made to Compliant Quality Audits Ltd within that time.

Your purchase can be cancelled at any time in that period. No further payment will be collected from that date onwards, unless you wish to reopen your account.
